Meet Grants Pass, OR Dentist Dr. Sten Erickson

Dr. Sten Erickson was born and raised in Grants Pass and attended Grants Pass High School. He graduated as valedictorian in 2003 and went on to study at Oregon State University Honors College. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and received a Minor in Chemistry and Spanish. He studied a summer abroad in Spain in 2006 which was a total immersion program focusing on Spanish. While in college, he also completed an Honors Thesis concerning Endocrinology.

He graduated from Oregon State University Honors College Summa Cum Laude in 2007. Sten went on to Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors and received a Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) in 2011. He met his future wife Rachel in dental school and they were married after they graduated. After graduation from dental school, Sten worked at Siskiyou Community Health Center for 3 years. Finally, Sten joined his wife, dad, and mom in the family practice in August 2014.

The Erickson family has over 120 years of combined dental experience. Dr. Sten also enjoys life outside of the office. He has played soccer all his life and currently plays in the Grants Pass Indoor/Outdoor Soccer League. He is active in church and enjoys musical events of all kinds. He is always outside whether hiking, rafting, biking, running, snowboarding, swimming, or camping. He enjoys spending time with friends, reading, and meeting new people.
